BLOG OF THE PRIVATIZATION OF WATER

the privatization of water from the blog of Adria ...

http://adria.blogolandia.it/2009/11/20/sulla-privatizzazione-dell-acqua/

The House finally approved the measure Ronchi implementing a series of EU obligations and where and 'planned privatization of water systems. The votes were 302 compared to 263 against. Members present and voting were 565, the required majority was 283 votes.

Before writing this post I tried to become well-informed on the details of this law on the privatization of 'water and frankly I found it all and its opposite, a total chaos where no one knows whom to believe. To hear
Ronchi not exist in fact the will to privatize the 'water, but to fulfill an existing European legislation and to outsource to private distribution. To hear Vendola instead there would be no European rule that inporrebbe privatization.

Legambiente takes the field for the VC Dezza president who says, "With this law is dispersed and commodify a precious heritage, the common good, whose use must meet the absolute criteria of public benefit."

From what little I could understand the institutional bodies (state, regions and municipalities) can decide whether to outsource to private or directly manage. But I think the problems are others.

First we start from 'beginning, in Italy know for sure that 50% of' water is lost because of crumbling pipes that would have the task of bringing up the taps at home, we know that a good part of the 'water is consumed in irrigation and consequently lost.

Against a safe higher costs in the bill if it is managed by individuals who can think with a better service and a program that takes into account periodic maintenance to the network can recover what is lost daily to public management?

entrusted to private management in Italy does not seem to excel quality, in every field. In my opinion this is the point of view from which to begin, let's not forget that there are areas in the peninsula in which privatization should be to fatten the already full belly of mafia organizations. Not to mention the intrusion of political and of the 'other side.

However, finally, facilities management and distribution to private individuals with the 'obligation to excellent maintenance and management of natural resources by the public. The 'water should remain a common good.

There is something that goes beyond the bill on the reform process, the short limitation, the Premier of the obvious attempt to save the session ghirba at risk after the rejection of unconstitutional Lodo Alfano.
Something that goes beyond the derby between those opposed to words or political events (here it is already harder, it seems, is a country with strong oral to written words but weak when it comes to risk and benefits ... privileges), Mr Berlusconi and the Italians who vote for or support it "even" in these circumstances so slippery. Slip in the first constitutional if that item is still 3 on "The Law is equal for all" that stands in the courtroom (an idea: if it took the word and how it was done to the crucifix ?...).
I mean that I am not here to menarla still on Berlusconi.

I am interested in the state instead of the country.
Make me an exercise in abstraction: if the specific interest of the Prime Minister, his ball for fifteen years and more, since before entering politics, that is, avoid being prosecuted for a series of events because " robes are red "(if you condemn him, if acquitted or prescribed, are blue), the social and economic climate in EXAMINED to-know-who just three years ago, everything would be different.

Do you remember the country three years ago?
you remember that there was no talk of crisis, the subprime mortgage bubble and finance made up of paper (of course then connected with a different timing of the crisis in the real economy) did not result in spite someone had feared for some time (Sylos Labini, among the Italians, but many other economists around the world)?
that the bag was strong, the ball still in the labor market, yet the idea of \u200b\u200bfuture expansion and so on? So this
over Berlusconi and Prodi, to be clear, this in the heart of everyday Italian with all the problems today in a nutshell that have developed?
The "bubble Italy" probably allowed to talk about the processes to Berlusconi, the opposition political party of speculation "as if it were all true, that we were really in front of the main problem of the country.
But today?
Look around, ask a young graduate with honors if not hard to do odd jobs from a few hundred euro a month because no one answers even sending his resume.
Ask many who do not have credit from banks (while the usual suspects continue to be sprayed by money with an ease that puts fear without being "viable", cf. the case Zunino sanitation for all) and are reduced to "strangle" usury.
Ask a generation of workers without pay "on the roof," really "an Italy on the Roof" to protest while the "caste" he insisted quietly without paying duty.
Ask anyone who deals with the factories and companies while employers too often they move on the chessboard capital making them "invisible" (the episode of the attempted eviction of workers dell'Eutelia with private security guards posing as forces of ' order is not a film script but the epigraph of a desperation and a total distortion).
Ask Italians with less work and less money because the process of integration with immigrants is made more difficult and more turbid than the climate, the reason most distant, feeling less "feel" and less strict.

I could continue, but our lives every day that you should know well, although usually the media or not to tell the story or argument, to actually use this as ammunition against anyone (see my essay " The new monsters "), or against Berlusconi against De Benedetti and so on (but the first government).
For this sketch of "fresco Italy" I do stride here, squeaks, broke in contradiction with the "problem of justice Premier".
It is, paradoxically, a luxury we can no longer afford, even beyond the goodness / badness of the ruling on the merits.
But they want to understand.
do not understand.
E 'a ruling class of GMOs, genetically modified organisms now.
